Your Retina Specialist

The retina specialist is an ophthalmologist who is an expert in diseases of the retina, such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Your CentraSight retina specialist is the leader of your CentraSight Team. He or she oversees the treatment program. The retina specialist also reviews the results of tests from the other professionals on the CentraSight Team and helps you decide whether or not you are a good candidate for the telescope implant.
Retina specialists involved in the CentraSight treatment program have received training on this patient care model.
